Green Cookie Records is proud to announce the addition of Dutch surf legends The Phantom Four to their roster. The label will release their highly anticipated new album “Mandira” on CD on June 14th and on vinyl on September 20th. Both releases will be a cooperation between the band’s own label Mirananda Records and Green Cookie Records. The digital release of “Mandira” will be on June 11th on Mirananda Records. On September 17th Green Cookie Records will release a special digital EP “Esperanza” with four exclusive mixes.
The Phantom Four, follow up to the legendary band The Treble Spankers, are one of the world’s premier instrumental bands. In their 9 year existence they have done around 300 shows throughout Europe. They played every major festival in the Netherlands and have been among the headliners at the Surfer Joe Summer Festival, Surf O Rama Festival and their very own North Sea Surf Festival, the very first festival in The Netherlands dedicated to instrumental surf music. The Phantom Four is also responsible for setting up North Sea Surf Radio, the first worldwide free online radio station dedicated to instrumental surf music, 100% commercial free.
